From Denny: Let Putin and his cohorts nervously squirm after their latest Russian mob folly. They really are on a back burner, slowly roasting to a tasty crisp. After all, they broke Crimea so it's up to them to fix their mess. Surely these thugs can figure out a few things on their own. Meanwhile, let's catch up on the fun government wrongdoings here in America.
The whole world is laughing at this bar room brawl between Senator Diane Feinstein and CIA Director John Brennan. It's the Sleaze trading barbs with the Slime. At our house, we are roaring with laughter at every news story that pops up on the TV and web, much to our entertainment delight. "The children are fighting again."
Of course, they are both technically right on some points of law and both very wrong about pretty much everything they put their hands to do, so, here's an idea: lock up the CIA and the entire Senate, excepting Kirsten Gillibrand and Bernie Sanders. Oh, please, throw away the key too. That pretty much sums up the attitude of the American people and the world about this fight. No one really cares what happens to either one of them.
Why on earth does Congress get angry at the CIA anyway? They are the idiots that changed the CIA charter, expanding CIA powers and territory. The CIA was once only legally allowed to operate on foreign soil but since terrorism caught the fancy of the last two presidents and Congress they now allow the CIA to operate at will and unregulated, and, most especially, on U. S. soil. Now is it any real surprise they would spy on Congress and their investigations?
