Corrupt Billionaires Denied: Obama Gets 2nd Term Mandate, More Firsts Too

From Denny:  Kiss off, billionaire Koch Brothers - and park your XL Pipeline where the sun doesn't shine.  President Obama's back in town. And he has a lot of female company.  Even though this was primarily an election to protect the status quo, rejecting a societal return to the set of Mad Men, there were some "firsts."

There are five new female senators, completing a 20 group, the largest amount ever in the Senate. Senator-elect Elizabeth Warren is the first woman senator elected from the state of Massachusetts in its history.  Col. Tammy Duckworth, a disabled Iraq War vet, won her Illinois House seat after getting trashed by the Republicans as not patriotic enough.  She only lost both her legs in service to her country.  Wisconsin's Senator-elect Tammy Baldwin is the first openly gay woman elected too.

And the territory of Puerto Rico voted for the first time by 54 percent to decide to become America's 51st state.  It is a non-binding resolution which means Congress has to approve it.  Puerto Rico has done a lot of soul-searching for decades on this issue.  To date, as a territory, they are not allowed to vote - yet are American citizens.  How will their vote, if granted, change the political process?  Can you imagine just how much the Republicans will fight to stop that possibility?  It's their worst nightmare.

Billionaire Koch Brothers Send Attack Lobbyists to Stop Energy Legislation

From Denny:  The famous Koch Brothers, who love to meddle in the very same government they claim should not basically exist, are now flexing their financial muscles again. They are demanding legislators lose the proposed energy legislation for natural gas subsidies to help wean America off oil.

Of course, Koch Industries, based out of Kansas, primarily has interests in oil, refining and pipelines as well as chemicals and consumer products like toilet paper (Angel Soft) and paper towels (Brawny). These are the same numb nuts that want to burrow an oil sands pipeline straight up through America to Canada from Houston.

Did I mention they want to dig said crazy pipeline under the only fresh drinking water, an underground glacier, for the entire Midwest population? Oh, and they claim "it's perfectly safe and nothing will go wrong." Uh, huh, and that's what BP told us here in Louisiana about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill clean up.

It's no wonder these two don't want natural gas to cut into their profits when they have so heavily invested in oil and refining. The new energy proposal to promote natural gas is backed by energy billionaire T. Boone Pickens. Remember the guy with the wind turbine TV ads? He's also the same guy that gets those turbines manufactured in China instead of America.

Funny News: Fake David Koch Punked Idiot GOP Wisconsin Gov. Walker

From Denny:  Talk about hilarious. A liberal blogger, Ian Murphy of Buffalo.Beast.com, decided to place a call to Gov. Walker, claiming to be billionaire businessman, David Koch, left in the above photo, of the famous Koch Brothers. The governor bought it hook, line and sinker.

The Koch brothers are these guys who are bankrupting America and whittling away at basic rights, employee rights, affordable health care and much more. These guys are really nothing but anarchists trying to overthrow an elected government by ruining the economy and national wages in order to concentrate the country's wealth into fewer and fewer hands: theirs. These billionaires are so damned greedy that they crave more billions and not enough politicians seem to have the will to stop them.
