Ukraine: Many Sins of Putin Have Sealed His Fate

Come On, Really? Fake Crimea Parliament and Referendum? How World Is Fighting Back

From Denny:  First Putin appoints his Ukraine puppet government.  That same puppet then sets about to decimate down the 180,000 man Ukraine military to almost mere symbolic window dressing.

Then it's safe for Putin to invade and build his troops to massive strength to overwhelm the Ukraine military remnants that have been reorganized to a level of 6,000 combat ready veterans for a National Guard. Remember, back in the 1994 treaty, Ukraine gave up its Soviet nuclear weapons, and, rightfully so, expect from the world more than just lip service and token sanctions against Russia.  With 200,000 Russian troops on their eastern border, Ukraine only has 41,000 infantry total remaining to defend themselves.  Their air force is outnumbered 100 to one.

Putin's most significant latest stupid move was to chase off the original regional government in Crimea.  He arbitrarily appointed his own yes men once his initial 16,000 armed masked men stormed the region.  Those troops are now swelled to 41,000 to 61,000 armed masked men holding hostage the entire country of 46 million.  It's now widely believed that it was Putin who sent in snipers to create the Feb. 18-20 bloodbath in Kiev that removed from power his own chosen Russian puppet Yanokovich.  Putin needed an excuse to invade and invade he did...

Ukraine: God Hates Liars And That Means You Putin

From Denny:  Listen up, Darling Vlad; you cannot split the difference with God.  You were given a short list of simple tasks to do in this Ukraine situation to help you exit gracefully, and, still you chose only to do a small portion and just send diplomatic envoys for uncommitted talks?  Then you hold a press conference to issue lies and ultimatums?  Perhaps you really are delusional as Germany's Merkel muses.

You are unequivocally disobedient toward God.  You have not peeled back your armed and threatening military troops from encircling the Ukraine military bases as requested.  You were advised, then warned to pull them back, and, yet you chose to disobey that warning, wrongly thinking the stopped military exercises on the border was enough.  Well, it isn't and I'm not happy with that wimpy tepid solution.

You have refused to call back your armed pro-Russia agitators by claiming they are not yours to command.  Quit lying; everyone knows they belong to you.  You insult God by lying to Him.  God hates liars.  Do not continue to be of such a black heart toward God with your Trash Talk to the world...

Ukraine: Is It Time To Bring Russia In From The Cold?

Ukrainian language and Ukrainians with their n...

From Denny:  Which country needs yelling at first:  America or Russia?  Answer:  both of them.  As usual, the hotheads in Congress, the State Department and in the White House are screaming for blood and revenge against Russia about intervention in Ukraine.

And they did that long before the Russians even made a move in any direction, forcing a move by Russia in order not to look weak and unresponsive.  Could Western leaders and Obama play worse chess?

I'm sure the Russian counterparts are acting just as Stupid Is As Stupid Does for how they want to "react to the reactions" from the Western governments, yelling their unwise heads off too.  Men. This is one of those times when you are all proving to be most annoying.

Enter my fellow journalists around the world who have stoked this tense situation and you have a real mess on your hands.  Too many media outlets are out there taking advantage of a serious real life situation in order to garner more media share for financial profit.  You just don't go around proclaiming this situation between America and Russia is suddenly the beginning of The Cold War, Part Deux.  It isn't part two of anything, you morons....

Busy Week in World Politics Challenging Governments

Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of IranImage via Wikipedia

Update, 9 AM: I come back a few hours after writing this post at 4 AM and what do I find for an ad by Google? Condoms by Trojan! Apologies to anyone who may be offended.

Actually, it made me laugh as it was a precursor to the "Richard Craniums" running the Iranian regime in the news story below. Gee, if I had known that Google would oblige me with a flashing ad I wouldn't have bothered to look around for a photo to include on the post! :) Richard Craniums? Polite, amusing term for the obvious... a girl has to keep her General Audiences rating.

From Denny: There has been a lot of political unrest around the globe this week, focused in the Middle East and Asia. Here are the latest developments.

Video: Iranian Protestors March on 10th anniversary

DAVOS/SWITZERLAND, 21JAN04 - H.E. From Denny: The now underground Iranian protestor movement surfaced today for a street demonstration and rally to mark the 10th anniversary of their 1999 student uprising, a huge threat then as now to the Islamic regime. The protestors used this anniversary as an excuse to resume their protests.

This was not a huge gathering - about 3,000 people compared to the 25,000 for the election protest - but large enough to cause some consternation from the irritated government promising harsh and ruthless retaliation. Of course the psychopathic Basij militia was out in full force like Hitler's brutal SS during WWII, savagely beating those who dared to protest at "an illegal rally." The government still doesn't understand just how determined this movement truly is; now they've been driven underground, well, all bets are off. We can expect anything from here on out.

What was the 1999 student uprising about? It was 200 students and they demonstrated against the closing of a reform newspaper, Salaam, which supported President Mohammed Khatami, a moderate. Anniversaries are big in this part of the world because embedded in them is strongly attached emotion and, therefore, reverance. That reverance brings to the table a dominating psychological factor against the enemy.
