Bibi Defies God To Steal Election: Time For U.S. to Quit Funding Israel?

From Denny:  OK, everyone, get as far away as possible from the physical proximity of Netanyahu as you can.  Run.  This man is about to get hit with Heavenly lightning bolts that will burn him to a crisp.  God is furious with Bibi for defying Holy Spirit's instruction to step aside and relinquish power.

Yeah, Netanyahu was praying so loudly to God to retain power that I could hear God's angry reply all the way over here in my writer's cave in south Louisiana, the U. S.  Bibi defied God and declared he was going to take the election in spite of what God told him.

And we all know you don't blaspheme Holy Spirit and get away with that level of crass spiritual rebellion, especially if you are Jewish.  There is a reason God calls the Jews his Chosen People. It's because if you can take the most rebellious folks on the planet and teach them spiritual obedience, then, well, anyone is capable of learning it too.  Bibi seriously screwed up by forcing his will against God's.

Bibi is so clueless that he doesn't even realize he is already circling the drain before he makes his first speech as the "reelected" crook.  It didn't help any that he used racism and fear mongering as a kick starter.  Yeah, that really helps advance humanity on the development scale.  (serious eye rolling happening at our house)

Of course, to ensure his fragile hold on a win, Bibi stole the election because the U. S. Republicans showed him how to do it.  If the shocked and surprised Israeli pollsters are smart they will do some digging and investigation into how this election was stolen because American pollsters "enjoyed" the same experience in the same manner for the last U. S. election ...

GOP Stealing Elections Again As Trial Balloon For Taking Back The White House In 2016?

President Barack Obama pauses during a a news conference in the East Room of the White House in Washington, November 5, 2014. REUTERS/Kevin Lamarque
Stiff upper Lip For President Obama after 2014 Election Losses - REUTERS/LARRY DOWNING

From Denny:  Wake up, you clueless Democrats; you just got snookered again by the Republicans stealing elections out from under your noses.  For the past two weeks the word here in the South has been from my Republican friends of how they "know for sure" they are going to win big and take back the Senate.  When I asked why they were so confident, they winked, grinned wide and said slyly, "Well, you know the fix is in nationally."

Of course, it didn't surprise me at all.  I've been suspecting it for some time. Republican greed is so ridiculously out of control.  All you had to do was observe some of their behaviors to know what they were up to.   I was just waiting patiently to see if they were actually stupid enough to carry it out.  The answer for Election Night 2014 was a resounding "Yes! We Can!"

Did you check out Sen. Roberts (R-Kansas) desperately dialing for dollars from K Street lobbyists to the tune of $100,000 per call to save his campaign?  Well, today it's K Street lobbyists who are calling Sen. Roberts and demanding all the legislation they want passed to make good for all that money they invested.  Sen. Roberts is not the only Republican who will have to pay up to their lobbyist sponsors.

For months all the polling has shown many a race to be neck and neck and "too close to call" like the Kansas Senate race.  Then, all of a sudden, there is "a stunning upset" in many a race on election night where the races were "decided" by 10 to 15 points?  Doesn't anyone in the Democrat Party have the BS detector going off in their heads yet?  You should.

You have a slew of hated Republicans all across the country that their own states can't tolerate and yet they get re-elected by wide margins?  Come on, seriously? ...

VOTE! Political Fails, Missteps, Midterms, ISIS, NFL: Late Nite Jokes

From Denny:  Make sure you VOTE! to get your voice heard above the lying political campaign ads.  If we want to change out our politicians who refuse to attend to the needs of the American people and get this country going again, then VOTE! even if you did not intend to vote until 2016 for the presidential campaign.  Make sure you have a valid I.D. like a driver's license or other state issued I.D.  Republican legal teams will be out in full force nationally to challenge voters at the polls, intent upon throwing out millions of votes or preventing millions of voters from being able to exercise their right to vote at all.

Even here in Louisiana the Republican brand is so disliked by voters that the candidates refuse to acknowledge they are Republicans on all their yard signs and political literature.  The public may be almost as angry with the Democrats but less so than with the Republicans who are too lazy to work but 13 percent of the time in Congress.  Why are we paying these lazy fools $168,000 annually anyway?  Part time work should be rewarded with part time paychecks and no health care plans since they are temporary workers.  Works for me.

Meanwhile, enjoy the political jokes, poking our most greedy and clueless politicians.  Get out and VOTE! and create a tsunami to overwhelm Congress with how the middle class wants real change and real change now...

How Democrats Can Win Midterm Elections? If Women Ain't Happy Then Country Ain't Happy

President Barack Obama delivers remarks during a campaign rally.
Evan Vucci/Associated Press

From Denny:  Women voters are furious at not having our issues taken seriously by either national political party.

Women voters are the foundation of the Democrat Party yet do not get the time of day to get any serious legislation passed that could actually be effective to improve the lives of all women: equal pay, higher minimum wage, dealing with abuse online and in the work place, and, let's not forget the outrageous refusal of Military Rape Rights and justice for rape victims.  Congress arrogantly rejected to renew legislation against abusing women that had been passed by former Senator, now current Vice President Joe Biden.

Why should that kind of legislation have to be renewed in the first place?  We don't see that type of temporary odious legislation imposed upon gays or African-Americans.  Why do women get kicked around on these issues of abuse and rape?

If the Democrats want to win, and win big for the midterm elections, then it's time for the Democrats - and this President - to get decisive and make a big very public show of real action. And you know I'm gonna tell you how to achieve this...

GOP AND Hillary 2016: Get Serious Or Step Aside, Middle Class Is Fed Up

Updates 10,11 Oct 2014.
From Denny:  Voters for the Democrats, and Republicans alike, are looking all around for a political leader who will, well, lead.  Fourteen years of unadulterated insensitivity and outright political inaction geared toward the majority of the country have all combined to create a ground swell of bitter resentment and grousing that hasn't been seen in decades in this country against both political parties, especially the Republicans.

The Middle Class is fed up with insincere speeches on economic progress, the drumbeat to go to war with ground troops yet again in the Middle East and lame political platitudes on every domestic issue.  The Pentagon is like a drunken sailor on holiday, spending huge money like there's no tomorrow on outrageously bad decisions because it's public money.  Let's see that money come out of their pensions and personal wallets.  Will they still spend so foolishly?

The Middle Class is disgusted and angry with Wall Street hand holding.  Voters of both political parties are angry with the gentle wrist slapping of cheap fines for business crimes instead of jail time.  Most of all The Middle Class is furious at the overt Good Ol' Boy Winks of government collusion that continues to create an environment of a stagnant U. S. economy and the constant evaporation of well paying jobs in favor of feeding The Beast of Greedy Corporate Profits while starving the people...

Jon Stewart Mocks New Jersey Obvious: Gov. Chris Christie Payback Scandal

NJ - Fort Lee: George Washington Bridge at night
NJ - Fort Lee: George Washington Bridge at night (Photo credit: wallyg)

3 funny videos.
From Denny:  Talk about the typical greedy politician.  Need a good laugh?  Wait until you hear what Jon Stewart had to say about Republican 2016 contender Rep. Paul Ryan's imagined thoughts - upon hearing of Christie's investigation misfortunes.  (Ryan was Romney's horrifically bad choice for VP in 2012.)

Comic Jon Stewart wastes no time exploiting the latest political scandal.  New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was up beyond 20 points ahead of his competition in the election, winning his second term in November.  But, in September, to ensure he mocked his Democrat competition, Christie just had to grind them in the ground. He does carry the reputation of the excessive bully like a cheap suit, complete with full blown temper tantrums - which Stewart reveals on tape.

What did he and his stupid aides do?  Clearly, the Christie office wanted the fun of dancing on someone's head.  Maybe they should go to work for the NSA who enjoy dancing on the heads of the American people with complete disregard.  Well, instead, the Christie Crowd decided local political payback was in order, Jersey Style, for those Democrat mayors that did not endorse Republican Christie for governor.  Jersey Style payback was exacted by closing down the GW Bridge down to just one lane four days running.  Lives were in peril for health emergencies and people could not get to work on time and children to school.  Oh, yeah, and it's a federal offense that could impeach Christie.

Of course, those slighted Democrats have since started investigations of Christie in regard to more than just clogging up traffic on the bridge but also mismanagement of the Superstorm Sandy federal funds.  It's definitely a two-fer.  Political vendettas are a bitch as Gov. Christie is about to find out.  Looks like the bully is about to get bullied by bigger bullies.  Sit back, sports fans, and enjoy the show.  We will at our house.  Meanwhile, catch up on the latest installment from Jon Stewart -  coz we all know there are more episodes coming soon to finish out the season!  There's nothing like jonesin' for a political scandal.  Woo! Hoo!

Laugh: Jon Stewart Tells It Like It Is About VP Debate

Host Jon Stewart in the studio of The Daily Sh...
Host Jon Stewart in the studio of The Daily Show in 2004 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
From Denny:  Junkyard dog VP Joe Biden smacked down his snarky Republican opponent, Paul Ryan, in the first few nano seconds of the debate.

Then Biden picked up the dazed talking parrot and slammed him against the barn door for lying every time he opened his mouth with phony statistics and fantasy GOP sponsored "studies."  Debate done; Biden won hands down.  We were all cheering at our house as this was the best TV we had seen in years.

Just check out all the funny news clips Jon Stewart collected from the sore loser side, the Republicans.  These three video clips are hilarious; the truth revealed in fast time.  The best is how Stewart took my fellow journalists to task for some really childish reporting, something I've fussed about for years.

The journalistic surface thinking spent more time worrying about what Twitter tweets said than the substance of the debate.  Then the Fox News crowd, kept company by the many other Republican journalists on the mainstream networks, launched into how Joe Biden was over the top with his facial expressions and gestures.  To which all I can say is "Oh, shut the F up!"

Get ready to start laughing at the truth clips Stewart collected to summarize this debate.  Clearly, Ryan was way out of his league and nowhere near ready for prime time.  Even the Republicans admitted privately at how disappointed they were in him that he was not presidential material.  "Do ya think?"

Obamas Axelrod, Bushs Rove: How Corrupt Are They? Have They Hurt The Country?

President Barack Obama talks with White House ...
President Barack Obama talks with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Senior Advisor David Axelrod during the flight from Paris to Caen, Normandy, June 6, 2009 in the Boeing C-32A (usually the Vice President and First Family air plane) being used as Air Force One. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

From Denny:  If Obama's Axelrod's lips are moving, then it must be a lie.  Same goes for Bush's Rove.  They both have strongly demonstrated they are political opportunists and willing money whores, selling out to the highest bidder.

For more than the past four years I've watched this political strategist called David Axelrod.  He claims to be a Democrat but has yet to convince me this is true.

Like I said, his lips are moving but his deeds say different.  What has happened is that he has been found out in so many lies, misstatements and half-truths that they are piled so high upon one another like a pile of bones on a weathered battlefield - out in the open for all to see.

His latest gaffe is "leaking national security secrets" like the special computer virus that so annoyed the Iran regime at their nuclear facilities.  Of course, he "protests too much" that everyone strongly suspects he personally did it.

2012 GOP Taliban: Politically Clueless Gaffes

From Denny:  What a week.  The comics could not ask for better material.  It was handed to them on a silver platter.  And the Obama White House aides are dancing in the halls because they cannot believe their good fortune.

Don't get cocky, guys, it might not last. Besides, there are always the fast rising fuel prices to torpedo what you thought was an easy win.

Obama and the health insurance debacle

President Obama fumbled the health insurance football when it came to the issue of women's birth control, desperately  trying to woo back the women's vote from his own party.  So, he shoved it down the throats of the religious groups' hospitals and teaching institutions.  The stormy political theater all played out without much forethought as is typical of this too political White House that prefers to campaign rather than actually doing the hard work of governing the country.

The Catholic Church's bishops were immediately the most vocal, hoping unrealistically, like a crazed frightened horse running out of a burning barn, to regain women's issues politically into their camp.  Obama received a hurricane level of push back from a wide spectrum of religious groups.  After the dust settled it was revealed that the push back has backfired on the churches and the Republicans.

Polls: Voters Yell: Throw Them ALL Out!

Official photographic portrait of US President...
Image via Wikipedia
From Denny:  Americans are fed up with a bad economy, massive job loss, bickering politicians and a weak President who does nothing about it all.  The anti-incumbent mood is downright antagonistic toward current office holders, according to the most recent poll released by Gallup.  In fact, it's the worst anger against politicians in 19 years.

How many members of Congress deserve to lose their jobs?  More than 75 percent of the registered voters said, "Yes, throw the bums out!"  By that large margin voters said Congress deserves to be kicked down the road.

What about the all-important Independent voting bloc?  They don't think Congress deserves to keep their jobs either, saying so by 80 percent.  Republicans weigh in at 75 percent and Democrats at 68 percent.

But here's the kicker on this angry agreement across political party lines against Congress in general, there are still 53 percent that thinks their own representative deserves to be re-elected while 40 percent say they do not.

Back in the 2010 election, when voters were not quite so angry in general at Congress, they were still angry enough to rip the House away from the wimpy do-nothing Democrats and gave it to the scorched Earth destructive Republicans.

That voter fiasco created a 63-seat turnover that has made the past year even worse than before the election because of bizarre Tea Party newbies.  This was the largest turnover by either party since 1948.  The stingy Republicans have managed to create a whole new class of people:  the former middle class now reduced to the working poor and The 99ers - those who have gone unemployed for years and exceeded unemployment benefits.

What about voter attitude towards Obama?  It ain't good, folks.  Only 43 percent thinks he deserves re-election.  At one point that figure had dipped down to 37 percent (measured in October 2010). What is most telling is that a high of 55 percent think Obama does not deserve a second term and it's trending higher as time goes by.

With a low percentage of approval like this for Obama what are the historical views of Presidents winning re-election?  Again, not likely.  Ever since WWII when these stats have been gathered it bears out that it takes an approval rating of at least 48 percent to win a second term.

Approval for how Obama has handled the economy is only at 33 percent, according to the recent CBS poll.  In fact, since 2008 when 75 percent of the country thought the economy was bad it has risen in 2011 to now 86 percent are negative on the economic outlook.  There are 42 percent who say it is terrible.

Worse are the numbers delivering the perception that President Obama's policies have favored Wall Street over everyone else comes in at 42 percent.  The fact that the pollsters even asked such a question lets you know it is high in the minds of everyday voters.  Corporate politicians beware.

What about the perception of whether voters think President Obama shares their priorities?  Not good on this front either.  They weigh in at 54 percent think he does not share the same priorities for the country.  When people go into the voting booth, invariably they go in to vote for someone who will help them.  The fact that Obama is seen as someone who will not be good for the average voter says he will not see re-election.

A suggestion to members of Congress and President Obama?  Get busy and do something more meaningful than payroll tax cuts and renaming the country's motto.  As rocky and unstable as is the economy so too can be your political job prospects.  Tick tock.

Wisconsin: Voters Slap Down GOP, Female Dark Horse Wins State Supreme Court Seat

Wisconsin protests at the capitol, Madison, in March

From Denny:  An obscure election got the royal treatment from activists and voters. Voters so hated Gov. Scott Walker's controversial anti-union initiatives they came out in droves to defeat a GOP incumbent for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The surprise dark horse vote came for Democrat unknown JoAnne Kloppenburg, down by an astounding 30 points right before the election. She is a state attorney general with support from several unions.

Election officials tallied her win at a razor thin 235 votes over the GOP incumbent of 12 years, Justice David Prosser, who is known to be sympathetic toward Gov. Walker's policies.  Prosser had come out of his primary with a 55 percent vote win.  Kloppenburg was second of four candidates with only 28 percent of that primary vote.  Prosser was expected to experience an easy runaway win - that fizzled because of unusually high voter turnout.

Video: Obama Talks About Womens Issues

From Denny: These 2 segments are from A Woman's Nation from Maria Shriver, First Lady of California, niece to Senator Ted Kennedy. She is reporting on the changing roles of women. The truth is the sea change in attitudes over the past generation of men is the real news! Women know what other women have had to do, especially single mothers. What's new is that men are finally noticing, adjusting and taking steps to partner better. It was refreshing to hear a President talk about this from a personal perspective.

The Latest on the Iran Protests

Iran Esfahan _DSC7416Image by youngrobv (Rob & Ale) via Flickr
From Denny: Here's a great link to a story over at CNN about understanding the scope of the protests in Iran with a question and answer format discussing the political history that led up to today's present unrest - definitely 30 years in the making.

Iran 101: Understanding the Unrest

Iran's unrest has sparked global protests. Here's CNN's photo gallery link. (Two of the photos are graphic - just so you know...
Photos #8 and #11 depict bleeding people wounded by the police crackdown. #8 shows a man's face covered in blood - a bit sickening. #11 is a man's elbow bleeding. Other than that the photos depict the huge rallies.) I like the photo that shows a protestor holding up the sign, "Where's my vote?"

Here's a cool CNN video about how Moussavi's wife has emerged as Iran's version of our Michele Obama. Women are increasingly at the forefront involved in the protests. Toward the end of the video is where Ahmadinajed lies (again, what a surprise...) to Moussavi about Moussavi's wife's credentials to teach. The look on Moussavi's face says he'd like to rip the guy's face off but can't in that government repressive atmosphere if he wants to stay alive and fight another day. Take a look!

If video does not show (as it did not in the preview for posting, here's the link: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/world/2009/06/17/dcl.costello.iran.women.cnn

Save Lives in Iran: Blog About Their Situation

From Denny: Save lives in Iran! It's important to keep up the international pressure. Keep the glaring public spotlight on these despicable leaders in Iran. If we don't blog about this people will die: the opposition leader and his main supporters. It's only a matter of time before they are imprisoned or worse.

As fellow bloggers you can get the word out since the mainstream media no longer can. Make your words count and you can save lives. As an American I've lived in third world countries with cavalier governments like this. I know how quickly what you think is your life can turn on a dime.

Write posts about the current situation in Iran. Already, with media pressure, there has been some movement by the government. If nothing else, their insincere public words of promised limited election investigation, are a sign they have stalled at killing the opposition leader - for now.

Get out there in the blogosphere and live out loud! The people of Iran need us to speak out for them since our international media got kicked out of the country. The government has begun its lockdown mindset. Bloggers have succeeded before; we can succeed now!

Feel free to go to the article link reposted below, quote it or this post, put the article or this post up on social sites. Put a fire under fellow bloggers to shout out to help protect lives in Iran!

Let me know when you make a post for change in Iran and I'll put it up here in a links box on the sidebar as well as support you on social sites. We have to do something and writing is what we do. Opinions count; make your voice heard around the world!

Thanks for visiting! Getting off my soapbox for now... :)

Update: BTW, here's Change_for_Iran @ Twitter, written in English, with over 21,000 followers. Twitter was asked by the U.S. gov't not to go down for maintenance as the Iranis are using Twitter to communicate among themselves. This Twitter stream reads like a the military out in the field coordinating efforts! Wow!

Dishonor: Cheated Election Results in Iran: "The current Iranian leaders of Ahmadinejad, the harsh petty clerics and this fearful politically foolish Supreme Leader all have deluded themselves into the belief they can squash dissent and control the populace. Good luck; it will never succeed.

When the will of the people is so cruelly oppressed for decades like in Iran then it will develop a more violent outlet. If Iran continues on this North Korean style track of cavalier “leadership” they will find themselves looking down the barrel of an assassin’s gun. It will be a homegrown domestic terrorist hell bent on freeing their country of tyranny."
